Strategy + Advisory
I've conducted strategy or advisory work with more than 50 organizations across the private, public, and social purpose sectors. From shifting the product focus of a Miami-based fashion company to helping structure a London-based social business and a Cambridge-based foundation, my work focuses on strategy, messaging, and structure. While this work is usually with the board of directors and senior management team, I prefer to work throughout an organization—and with its users—to unearth what matters.
I also serve on a number of boards and strategy/steering groups. I enjoy board service, especially considering long-term strategy, financials, and how to grow while keeping and nourishing an organization's soul. Please reach out if that sounds like a fit. Recent service includes:
Medical and dental consent made simple and reassuring for patients, and less risky and faster for doctors. Consentic is an online platform of comprehensive, medicolegally reviewed, and patient-tested video animations that assist medical and dental consent. I was their first strategic advisor and remain on the advisory board.

MakerGirl provides inspirational STEAM education sessions for girls 7-10 years old. The nonprofit has worked with over 3,000 girls in 19 states since its creation by extraordinary young women in a social entrepreneurship course of mine in 2014. I serve on its board.
